Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Glōwketing (“Glōwketing,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and product (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. Name, email address, and authentication credentials you provide when you sign up. Authentication is handled by our identity provider, Clerk.
  • Content you create. Brand DNA, marketing DNA, content plans, chat prompts, and other inputs you submit to the Service.
  • Connected accounts. Information you authorize us to access from third-party platforms (e.g., Instagram) needed to provide the Service.
  • Usage data. Pages visited, features used, performance metrics, error reports, and approximate device / browser characteristics.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To authenticate users, secure the Service, and prevent abuse.
  • To measure product performance, debug issues, and understand which features are used.
  • To measure the effectiveness of our marketing and to reach people who may be interested in Glōwketing.
  • To communicate with you about your account and the Service.

3. Analytics and marketing tracking

3.1 Product analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. PostHog records events such as page views, feature interactions, and anonymous identifiers tied to your account.

3.2 Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) for conversion tracking, building marketing audiences, and measuring the performance of campaigns we run on Facebook and Instagram. When you visit the Service, the Meta Pixel sends information to Meta about your visit, including:

  • The pages you view on the Service and basic browser metadata.
  • Conversion events that represent product milestones, such as completing signup, finishing onboarding, generating an image, adding ideas to a content plan, sending a chat message, or signing in.

Advanced Matching. When you are signed in, we also attach a SHA-256 hash of your email address (and, where provided, your phone number) to events the Pixel sends to Meta. Hashing is performed in your browser before the data leaves your device; we do not transmit your email or phone number in plaintext through the Pixel. Meta uses these hashes to match your activity against existing Meta accounts so that conversions can be attributed to ads, and to build custom and lookalike audiences.

The Meta Pixel only loads in environments where a Pixel ID is configured. In preview and staging environments we use a separate test Pixel that is not connected to our production audiences. You can manage how Meta uses your data for advertising from your Meta Account's ad preferences.

3.3 Error monitoring (Sentry)

We use Sentry to capture client- and server-side errors so we can diagnose and fix bugs. Sentry receives stack traces, the URL where the error happened, and limited environment metadata. We redact known sensitive fields before reports are sent.

4. Sharing of information

We share information with the service providers that operate the Service on our behalf, including hosting (Netlify), authentication (Clerk), analytics (PostHog), advertising measurement (Meta), and error monitoring (Sentry). We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You can also limit advertising tracking from Meta by adjusting your Meta ad preferences, and you can install browser extensions or use tracker-blocking settings that prevent the Meta Pixel from loading.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
